Are you interested in joining a small company with a unique mission to communicate safety and environmental information to a wide variety of employers in the tri-state area?

Professional Training Associates, Inc. seeks a full-time training professional to organize and conduct health & safety training courses for our clients in the industrial, construction, healthcare, and government sectors. Prior training experience is preferred.  An understanding of government safety and environmental regulations is essential, but we will provide additional in-house training as necessary.  Some overnight travel is required. OSHA construction /general industry outreach authorization is a plus.

Primary responsibilities would include preparing, organizing and conducting the following training courses:

1. All Asbestos training disciplines
2. All Lead-Based Paint training disciplines
3. OSHA Hazwoper and Outreach courses
4. EPA RCRA for Large Quantity Generators
5. DOT Hazmat for Ground Transportation
6. ICRA for Healthcare Construction

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Experience and knowledge of at least two of the training disciplines above.
• Interest in adult education.
• Enthusiasm to present material to audiences of diverse educational and social backgrounds.
